Last week, we got out on site.
We visited Martin Saunders and Lee Gayler’s (Property Point Homes) corner plot - an old bungalow with a large garden, now being turned into seven flats. A mix of conversion and new build, with two construction approaches running side by side: traditional masonry and timber frame.
Not something you often get to see compared in real time. One to watch as it progresses. 👍
Back at the venue, our guest speaker, Matthew Wood MRTPI (Phase 2 Planning and Development Ltd) broke down the expected changes to the NPPF - the planning rulebook that shapes what gets approved. Straightforward insight on what’s likely coming and what it could mean for future schemes.
We also had Adrian Gibbs (CM3 Consultancy) run through site analysis and risk, focusing on what to look for before committing to a deal.
A solid session all round. 🔥
